Today's event should have been played at Haydock Park Golf Club, but due to the weather, the course was too wet for us to play there. After an extensive ring round, I managed to secure Wilpshire Golf Club near Blackburn.
Thankfully after a dryish weekend, the course was open and relatively dry. The greens were a little bumpy, which wasn't conducive to good scoring, whch showed in the results. At least we got a game in, after such a bad run of rain.
