Today's event was the last of the Winter Series, it should have been played at Walmersley GC, but due to the previous wet weather, a couple of holes were not quite ready for us, so we moved venues to Turton GC.
Due to the Coronavirus, we were not allowed in the clubhouse, and had to follow all the guidelines given by England Golf. I camped out in the Car Park, and ran the comp from there. The weather was great, and the course in good dry condition, the only problem was they had tyned and dressed the greens, which is usual for this time of year.
Scoring was good in general, but the greens seemed to have an effect. Well played to all the winners, here are the results:
